Synopsis

In 2009, following the formation of a new government administration, a certain mountainous settlement suddenly drew the world's attention. The construction project on the Yamba Dam in Naganohara, Gunma Prefecture, in the works for 57 years, was suddenly announced as being cancelled. Area residents strongly opposed the move, and demanded that the construction continue. The cameras recorded the truth and the local sentiments behind the construction of the dam.
