Synopsis

A diplomat with a secret mission gets involved in a mystery case abroad.

Kosaku Kuroda, a diplomat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, travels around the world on secret assignments to protect and rescue important Japanese figures. After solving a kidnapping case of a Japanese person in South America, Kosaku was heading to San Francisco to protect the Japanese Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs at the WTO Agricultural Conference. Meanwhile, an unidentified body was found in Tokyo. From the evidence gathered, an ex-diplomat becomes a suspect. However, the suspect has already committed suicide in San Francisco...

The sequel to the hit feature film, "Amalfi," which hit the screens in 2009. A new story, set in San Francisco, Mexico and Japan, brings back the protagonist to the small screen on an epic scale, with lush imagery and extensive foreshadowing.
